Kiev Coffee was born out a passion for great coffee and a heart for social action in the Ukraine.
We love the amazing coffees Denis Sychev is roasting and created Kieve Coffee Ltd in the UK,to support his roastery and the social action projects his family are doing through their Church in Kiev. Kiev Coffee offers coffee bean subscriptions for coffee fanatics. Every subscription helps support social action projects in that war torn country, helping Denis and his father Nick’s church do some amazing social projects.
Great Coffee

Denis has been in the coffee industry since 2012. He opened a coffee shop at the central station and other coffee shops.
The breakthrough came when he started work at The Finch roasting company.
He then began roasting coffee for the Finch Company. Over time, Denis established his own small sales market and agreed with the owners to rent a roaster for roasting his coffee.
In 2021 he opened his own roasting company just before the war started. Production was shut down for several months. He then restarted it and continues to develop his client network.
Denis is actively involved in children’s charity projects and aid to the Ukrainian armed forces.
Here are some of the social action projects each coffee subscription will support.
Rural Ministry
Bilievka, a small farming village in the Ukraine, is home to approximately 100 people and lies about two hours from Kiev. Many residents depend on seasonal farm work.
Alcohol addiction and unemployment are widespread challenges within the community. In 2024, Pastor Nick Sychev initiated the Bilievka Seed Project to help the local people grow vegetables and become more self-sustainable. The project has been a great success: families have been able to eat their own produce, share with the elderly and families in need, and even sell some of their harvest to generate income for ministry and community needs.

Through the generosity of supporters, the project has expanded with greenhouses and, in early 2025, small-scale chicken farms, which have provided much-needed eggs to local families. The church community in Bilievka continues to grow, and Pastor Nick now also ministers to soldiers and local civilians stationed in the area—recently blessing them with warm, durable shoes.

Each subscription will help towards winter fuel and next season, begin to give a salary to people working on the samllholdings.
Serving internally displaced people
The church has taken supplies and visited people near the frontlines and also internally displaced people in the Vinitsjaya area.
