Guatemala La Delicia

These beans, “La Delicia” is not a single farm but rather a blend of coffees from several regions in Guatemala – typically from New Oriente, Cobán and Huehuetenango.

The coffee is grown at high altitude – around 1,500 metres above sea level – and on volcanic or clay-loam soil. They are hand-picked, and processing is by washing followed by careful drying, which helps maintain clarity and clean flavours.

The cup profile of Guatemala La Delicia tends to be quite balanced and nuanced — often combining sweetness, complexity, and a clean, smooth body.

La Delicia appeal to those who like a well-balanced “classic” coffee — not too acidic, not too bitter, smooth yet complex.

These beans come from New Oriente, Coban Huehuenentango, using Typica, Bourbon Catuai variteies. They have notes of milk chocolate, dried hazelnt, apple and caramel.
